Foraging plays a key part in our journey towards autonomy. By unearthing the forgotten knowledge around the plants and mushrooms present in abundance around us, we have diversified our culinary practice and significantly cut our ties with the agro-industrial food system responsible for so much of the world’s environmental damage. We believe that bringing wild food back into our kitchen can help to recentre food sovereignty at the local level.

We lead plant and mushroom walks in the spring and the automn, and offer workshops on preservation, fermentation and mushroom cultivation.
